I began Peoria Life as a way for writers in the Peoria Area to come together to write about the Peoria Area.
I love the Peoria Area and was a host, producer, and editor of IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD on WMBD Radio with my co-host Stacy Borho. The show was about the leaders in the Greater Peoria Area. I co-chaired for the Pumpkin Classic in Morton, IL for 3 years(2010-2012) helping to bring the race from roughly 700 to 1,700 participants. I've participated in fund raisers for the Children's Hospital of Illinois, Make-A-Wish and Teen Challenge.
I work in both commercial and residential real estate in Tazewell, Woodford and Peoria counties. I began in real estate with a love for architecture and design. After years of working on personal homes, I began fixing up homes and flipping them and making a profit. This cultivated my love for Real Estate. I've been a Realtor for over 8 years. I took real estate as a college course and began my real estate career at TRADERS Realty. I moved to REMAX and I am the owner/team leader of the Homeward Group.
I am member of the National Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors and Peoria Area Association of Realtors. I am a licensed real estate broker, a Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI), Toast Masters International and an alumni of Richard Robbins International Coaching program.
I studied photography and commercial art at Olivet Nazarene University. I worked in photography as a photographer, national troubleshooter and sales for two of the top photography studios in the country. I spent years in the music industry managing a professional music store, which led to working for a professional audio design company designing sound systems and tour guide systems for companies and churches all over Illinois and beyond.
