Jeff Griffin

Jeff Griffin has served as President of the 1,100 member, Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce since February 2014. As of March 2016 he was promoted to CEO of the Greater Peoria Business Alliance (GPBA), the parent organization of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and CEO Council. As CEO of the GPBA he will also serve as CEO of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and CEO of the CEO Council.

Jeff is currently a member of several organizations and committees in the Greater Peoria area including Peoria Pathways to Prosperity, Rotary Club of Peoria-North and OneWater committee.

Jeff moved to Peoria, Illinois from Wooster, Ohio with his wife Rosy and three children in 2014. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Criminology and then received his M.S. in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Jeff’s career includes over twenty years of experience in social services and youth counseling. He worked for the Village Network in Wooster for ten years, including three years as Regional Director. In addition, he worked as a Social Worker for Father Flanagan’s Boys Home/Girls and Boys Town in Nebraska.

In Wooster, Jeff served as the Ward 4 representative for four years on City Council before being elected council president; a role he held until assuming the role of Wooster Area Chamber President. Griffin graduated from the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management in 2011 and currently serves on the Board of Regents for the program.
